As of 2019 they have changed their gift shop to more higher end stuff and less souvenirs. Also Dockside gift shop is now a cafe.

But Captain Andersons is still GREAT as always.

I love this place. Yes, they have been here forever. Yes, they serve 3,000 people a night at peak. Yes, it is not a hole in the wall. Yes the wait can be brutally long.

But over 3 dozen meals later, it is absolutely consistent and great!

The garlic butter sautéed crab claws are the star of the show!!!! Yum yum yum.

The bread, dipped in the leftover garlic butter wins best supporting actor.

But can we talk about that whole fried flounder for a minute? Delicate. Fresh. Light breading. Crispy. It's the stuff dreams are made of.

Our last dinner also featured the following and every guest enjoyed them:
    Crab cakes
    Broiled and stuffed flounder
    Popcorn and big shrimp
    Cedar plank salmon

Go eat here. Arrive before 5. You won't be sorry.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner celebrating my sister and BILs anniversary. Everyone (including the kids) loved their meals. The grouper imperial was sublime!
The creme brûlée was just good. It would be better if they included the vanilla bean.
The Cookies in the market were amazing! Highly recommend picking some up on the way out.

We tried this restaurant for the first time on a Friday night because everyone recommended it. Although the restaurant is beautiful inside and has great views of the water, I didn't like my food all that much. The place is definitely unique inside and gives you old Florida feel where there's a gift shop that you can explore as you wait to be seated. The bar and dining areas are separate from each other which was nice.

When you walk in, you get a number while you wait for your number to be called. Luckily we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated! So that was good because I expected a longer wait on a Friday night. Then once you are seated, you are assigned a waitress and her name appears on your table.

We got a booth and ordered a bottle of wine with calamari as appetizer. We did wait awhile for the bread rolls to come to our table. I didn't care for their bread rolls though. They are not those soft bread rolls but rather crisp and crunchy ones.

We ordered grouper imperial and grouper with crab meat stuffing. I liked the grouper imperial more than the grouper with crab meat stuffing. For me, I feel the crab meat stuffing didn't enhance the flavor. It was okay and didn't taste that good. For $30+ grouper, it was disappointing. Your dinner comes with a choice of salad or soup plus a side. I went with mashed potatoes and salad. For dessert, we took cheesecake to go which was good. They have tons of desserts to choose from and at the end, they bring a platter of desserts where you can see everything and pick what you want!

Service was good except for the initial serving of bread which took about 10 minutes for them. Other than that, the food was good but not great. I didn't care for it much to return here. I know some people love the restaurant and food here but I wasn't impressed with the food flavors and taste. This place is definitely a tourist attraction but you can get same quality food for far less in other surrounding restaurants.

WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PCB RESTAURANT.

Fishing boats unloading outside. Old Florida ambiance inside. Greeted by the owners or their old buddies. A walk down the hall, to the dining room, welcomed along the way. Exiting thru artifacts and into the delicious bakery, gift shop. LOVE IT ALL!!!

Mahi Mahi, shrimp scampi, fried or chargrilled seafood, ground sirloin, all served piping hot, with ur choice of sides, choice of salads, crusty hot bread and hush puppies. What is not to like.

And when u think there is not room for one other bite, yes, we will split the most luscious coconut cream pie ever!!!
